Deario Wilkerson, a murder suspect, was captured after months on the run when he fell through the ceiling of a Memphis home where he had been hiding. U.S. Marshals were searching the house as part of an investigation into a fatal shooting from April 2024.
Wilkerson, 20, was wanted on charges of first-degree murder and
reckless endangerment in connection with the death of Troy Cunningham. Wilkerson and two other suspects had been involved in the shooting, which also injured a woman. The other suspects were arrested earlier, but Wilkerson remained at large until his arrest after falling from the attic.
